KLINGER®Quantum is the first fibre-reinforced gasket material in the world that is exclusively HNBR-bound. Thanks to the unique production process developed especially for the purpose, this material can be used at higher temperatures and with a much wider range of media than any other fibre-reinforced gasket material that is currently available. Never before seen flexibility
In a 3-point bending test measuring the elasticity of materials, the KLINGER®Quantum was proven to retain its quality and flexibility multiple times better compared to traditional fibre-reinforced gasket materials. Traditionally the use of fibre-reinforced gaskets has been limited to constant operating temperatures of below 200 degrees, and the materials’ ability to adapt to changing temperatures and pressures has been undermined by their potential brittleness. KLINGER®Quantum retains its flexibility even at 350 degrees constant service without becoming brittle, and is therefore suitable for more applications then any other fibre-reinforced gasket. KLINGER®Quantum is a suitable gasket for applications using oil, water, steam, gases, salt solutions, fuels, alcohols, weak organic and inorganic acids, hydrocarbons, lubricants or refrigerants.
