SUPERSAFE® ATEX spray shield is made of fiberglass fabric which each fiber has been treated with a special PTFE coating. The coating ensures a non-sparking antistatic property for each component – a low surface resistance value (3.2 kΩ <109 kΩ according to EN 60079-0: 2009) for high electrical conductivity.
The shield is available with a leak tube, making any leaks easier to detect. The material can withstand aggressive media and high temperatures. Widely suitable for industrial ATEX applications. Temperature resistance max. 230 ° C and pressure resistance max. 110 bar.
Due to its construction, it is suitable for use in almost all flange types and shapes. Installation is easy thanks to the adhesive surface and the tightening cords at the edges.
