There are both contact and contactless sensors with several different measuring techniques, such as potentiometer, inductive and magnetic contactless. Output signal is analog potentiometer / 0,5-4,5 / 0-10 VDC or 4 – 20 mA, or digital.
- The bodies of SLP-series of potentiometers are only 18 mm wide and they are available with ball heads (SLPC), with spring loaded shaft (SLPS) or without spring or ball heads (SLPT)
- Measuring range is 10-100 mm or 10-300 mm depending on the model
